Padma Awards 2020: Manoj Das to receive Padma Bhushan

New Delhi: Eminent litterateur from Odisha, Manoj Das will receive Padma Bhushan, the second-highest civilian award of the country.

The government of India on Saturday announced the names of seven Padma Bibhusan awards, 16 Padma Bhusan and 118 Padma Shri awardees.

Former Odisha Governor S. C. Jamir will also receive Padma Bhushan.

Padma Shri awardees from Odisha:

Dr. Damayanti Beshra, Binapani Mohanty (Literature and Education)

Utsav Charan Das, Mitrabhanu Gountia, Manmohan Mahapatra (Posthumous) (Art)

 Radhammohan and Ms Sabarmatee (agriculture)

Batakrushna Sahoo (Animal Husbandry)

Dr. Prasanta Kumar Pattanaik from USA will get Padma Shri (Literature and Education)

Digambar Behera (Medicine) are among the Padma Shri awardees from Odisha
