Girl student shot at by 2 miscreants in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A girl studying fashion designing in a reputed institute in Bhubaneswar was shot twice in both her thighs in the Infocity area of Bhubaneswar on Monday.

Two unidentified miscreants shot the girl.

The girl student has sustained bullet injuries on her thighs and is presently undergoing treatment at KIIMS here.

Reportedly, the girl was with her male friend when the two miscreants arrived at the spot and then shot her and fled.

Commissionerate Police said they have started an investigation into the incident.

“Incident of firing under Infocity PS. Initial report shows that she was not the target & had nothing to do. She is out of danger as per treating physicians. Accused has been identified, motive known. Investigation is in preliminary stages & facts can change,” tweeted the Commissionerate Police.
