Bhubaneswar: As many as 103 persons have been kept under home observation in Odisha for coronavirus, said an official on Friday.
The health department said a total of 103 travelers who have returned from Corona affected countries after 15th January 2020 have been identified by the state surveillance system and kept under home quarantine.
It said three passengers among Wuhan evacuees quarantined at New Delhi have returned to Odisha and have been contacted by the department.
So far, 29 countries have been affected by Coronavirus. In India, all the 3 positive cases identified till date from the state of Kerala are now stable.
As nCoV (Covid-19) has no definite treatment so prevention is the best. Accordingly, wide publicity is being done to create awareness in the community through health education messages especially on handwashing, cough etiquette, and home isolation.
