Coronavirus regulations extended till April 15 in Odisha


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended all regulations in force for COVID-19 from March 31 to April 15.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said the Coronavirus regulations may be extended further based on the situation and appealed to everyone to comply with the regulations.

“The regulation will be in force till 15th April which may be extended based on the situation. Appeal everyone to comply with the regulation and be part of Odisha’s efforts in protecting the people of the state from #COVID19,” the CM tweeted.

He also appealed everyone who comes to Odisha from abroad to register themselves through a toll-free number (104) or online portal https://covid19.odisha.gov.in.

“The registration should be done within 24 hours of arrival with basic details and phone numbers. Advanced registration before arrival will be highly preferable. They will be required to be in home quarantine for 14 days and given an incentive of ₹15,000 for registration,” the CM tweeted.

The Odisha government made it compulsory for registration of all people, who have come Odisha from abroad after March 4, through the web portal and helpline number.

The state government is offering an incentive of Rs 15000 to each person registering with the State on coming from abroad.
