Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday directed the concerned officials to set up COVID-19 hospital in each district in next one week.
The government has planned to keep 6000 beds ready at 36 places in the state to treat the patients by the end of this month.
Odisha has made 20 COVID Hospitals operational so far while another 15 upcoming hospitals will be operational soon, said the Health department.
“Further strengthening its preparedness to contain the spread of COVID19, Odisha has made 20 COVID Hospitals operational. Another 15 upcoming hospitals will be operational soon,” tweeted the department.
