COVID-19 testing facility at IGH, ILS in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 testing facility has commenced at Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela and Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar.

As a result of the increase in the testing facility, 803 COVID-19 samples were tested yesterday which is so far highest, said an official.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his happiness over commencement of new testing facilities and thanked health professionals, police and other officers for their effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

Up to 9 AM today, 5537 samples have been tested. Number of positive cases stand 60. 18 persons have already tested negative and recovered.  The number of death case is one while the active cases are 41.

113 persons are under hospital Isolation today in different hospitals.
