Bhubaneshwar: Utkal Entrepreneurship and Career Hub (UECH) of Utkal University organized a webinar on decoding the world of start-ups and entrepreneurship.
The webinar is a first in a series of webinars that has been planned.
Ayaskanta Mohanty, Managing Director of the State’s leading IT Startup, Tatwa Technologies was the chief speaker of the webinar where he shared his insights explaining various aspects of entrepreneurship and start-ups.
This is a first of a kind webinar that the varsity has initiated.
The world is facing the biggest calamity of this century and it has created a road that’s not easy for entrepreneurs to travel. It is a crucial time for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn how to brace themselves and make the most from learnings of entrepreneur who have seen it all.
With this aim the newly set up non-profit voluntary organization UECH in collaboration with RUSA 2.0 cell organized this webinar. More than 70 participants attended the 90 minute webinar.
Almost 30 participants were budding entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs while the rest of the participants were students of the varsity.
“We need to become job givers and go beyond job seekers,” said Ayaskanta Mohanty commenting on the current employment scenario of the country.
Mohanty covered various aspects of entrepreneurship.
He acknowledged that the start-up eco system in Odisha needs to improve and more supportive.
He also answered many questions posed by the participants.
Prof A. Khan, Director, UECH gave the inaugural address and Manoj Tripathy, Training & Development expert, PMSU, Utkal University moderated the sessions.
