Students from Odisha stranded at Kota to return


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has initiated the process to bring back around 975 Odia students stuck at Kota in Rajasthan.

Maximum students are from Sundargarh and Jharsuguda districts, said sources.

The students will board buses for Odisha from Kota on Thursday.

The students have arranged for their own transport.

The state government has given the route permit and made other arrangements to ensure their safe return, said sources.

Earlier, a large number of students from Odisha, who are stranded at Kota, due to the lockdown have appealed to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to ensure their safe return to the state.
