Two Surat returnees test COVID-19 positive in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Two Surat returnees have tested Coronavirus positive in Odisha as Ganjam joined the list of COVID-19 affected districts in the state.

The two positives of Ganjam district have been identified as a 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old youth.

Both are Surat returnees and asymptomatic, said the Information and Public Relations department.

Besides, a 40-year female has tested positive in Jharsuguda district.

Prior to this, Ganjam did not have any single positive case. Ganjam district is expected to receive a large number of migrant workers stranded across the country.
