COVID-19: Odisha reports highest single day spike

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Wednesday registered 101 new COVID-19 positive cases taking the total positive tally to 538 in the state. This is the highest single-day spike.

The fresh cases are from Ganjam (52), Balasore (33), Jajpur (7), Sundargarh (7), and Keonjhar (2).

According to the Health department, most of the cases are reported from quarantine centres and containment zones.

Positive Cases till 9 AM: 538
New positives: 101
In quarantine centers: 90
In containment zones: 8
Others: 3
