Fourth COVID19 positive case in Odisha

Odisha’s COVID-19 positive cases surge to 1723


Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 63 fresh COVID-19 positive cases on Friday as the total number of Coronavirus cases surged to 1723, informed the Health Department.

Out of 63 cases, 61 are found in quarantine centres and 2 are local contacts, said the department.

The samples tested positive are from 15 districts.

These included from Ganjam (4), Balasore (3), Khordha (12), Cuttack (3), Puri (1), Nayagarh (7), Balangir (6), Jagatsinghpur (11), Sundargarh (2), Mayurbhanj (1), Dhenkanal (9), Sambalpur (1), Koraput (1), Jharsuguda (1) and Nabarangpur (1).

With this, the active cases in Odisha now stand at 827.
