Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Sunday reported three deaths due to COVID-19 while another 137 patients recovered of the disease, informed the health department on Sunday.
The death toll due to COVIDd-19 rose to 21 in Odisha.The three deaths have been reported from Ganjam, Cuttack and Khurdha districts.
A 75-year-old man of Ganjam, who was suffering from diabetes and hypertension, succumbed to the virus, said the department.
Besides, a 65-year-old man of Cuttack district, who was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease, and a 73-year-old man of Bhubaneswar, who was also suffering from diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease, died due to the infection of deadly virus.
The total number of recovery cases in Odisha increased to 4,743.
A maximum number of 33 patients from Ganjam district cured of the virus infection.
