Nonattached Attachment: Odisha Governor’s new book


Bhubaneswar: On the auspicious Bahuda Jatra of Lord Jagannath, PEN IN Books, the leading publishing house of the state, has handed over the first copy of the spiritual book ‘Nonattached Attachment’ to Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal on Wednesday.

This book, based on Bhagavad Gita, is written by the Odisha Governor.

Subhransu Panda, director of PEN IN Books, handed over the first copy to Prof Lal on the premises of Raj Bhawan. Governor’s wife Sushila Devi was present during the occasion.

The Odisha Governor has expressed his happiness after receiving the first copy of the book which has been written on Karma Yoga of Bhagavad Gita.

The Governor said no power can confine the Bhagavad Gita within religion, country, or time zone and added that Gita’s relevance pervades through ages.

Although Bhagavad Gita is a small book, its elucidation and interpretation is very tough, he added.

Panda said due to the coronavirus pandemic it is very difficult to make the book available in various stores of the country.
