Former MP Narendra Swain passes away

Bhubaneswar: Former Rajya Sabha member from Odisha Narendra Swain has passed away. He was 81.

Swain breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private COVID Hospital in Cuttack.

Swain was elected to Rajya Sabha as a BJD candidate in December, 2015.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed grief over the demise of Swain.

Describing Swain as a dedicated organizer, Patnaik said the late MP will be remembered for his service towards the working community.

The Chief Minister conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
