Minister Samir Dash tests positive for Coronavirus

Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash and his wife, Sangeeta, have tested positive for Covid-19.

The Minister confirmed this through his Twitter handle on Monday.

He informed that he and his wife are in home isolation and their condition is stable.

He also advised people who came in contact with him in the last seven days to undergo Covid-19 test.

Samir Dash is the seventh Minister to have tested positive for Coronavirus.

Earlier, Ministers Ranendra Pratap Swain, Tukuni Sahu, Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Susanta Singh, Arun Kumar Sahu and Padmini Dian had tested positive.

Over 30 lawmakers in Odisha have contracted Covid-19.
