Arun Bothra promoted to ADG rank

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has promoted three IPS officers including Arun Bothra to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG).

Arun Bothra, who recently cracked the sensational Nayagarh minor girl rape and murder case, has been promoted to the ADG rank.

Presently, Bothra is serving as CMD of OSRTC.

Two other IPS officers- Sanjay Kumar Singh and Sunita Kakran have also been promoted to the ADG rank, said a notification.

Sunita Kakran is presently on central deputation.

The new promotions will be effective from January 1, 2021, it said.
