Compulsory retirement to six Odisha govt officials


Bhubaneswar: Six Odisha government officials have been given compulsory retirement on grounds of corruption and inefficiency, informed an official on Wednesday.

Four engineers and two excise officials are among them.

The officials are Ajit Kumar Debata (Deputy Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Keonjhar), Jitendra Kumar Dalai (Assistant Engineer, Quality Control Department of R&B division, Cuttack), Bijay Parida (Assistant Engineer, Rural Works Section-1, Karanjia, Mayurbhanj district), Ganeswar Sethi (Assistant Engineer, R&B Division-II, Bhubaneswar), Jayadeep Patnaik (Deputy Superintendent of Excise) and Rihaz Ahmed Beg (Excise Inspector, Sundargarh).

They were given comulsory retirement for alleged corruptions and involvement in indiscipline activities.
