Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday issued Covid guidelines for September month, lifting the weekend shutdown in the state.
However, night curfew will continue in municipal corporations in the state. Night curfew will continue in all urban areas from 10 pm to 5 am.
Restrictions on religious, social, and political congregations will continue during September. Besides, there will be no permission for melas and exhibitions, informed Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Kumar Jena.
Cap on gatherings in marriages/funerals has been increased to 250. Earlier, it was 25 for marriages and 20 for funerals.
Band, baja, barat procession gatherings number has been allowed with maximum participation of 50 persons.
Cinema halls and auditoriums will operate with full capacity in adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
