Former AG Mukul Rohatgi to represent Aryan Khan before Bombay HC in drug case

Mumbai: Mukul Rohatgi, senior advocate and former Attorney General for India will represent Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan in his plea before the Bombay High Court seeking bail in the cruise ship drug case.

According to reports, Rohatgi is being briefed by Karanjawala & Co Partners Sandeep Kapur and Ruby Singh Ahuja. The matter is slated for hearing today before Justice Nitin Sambre.

Advocate Satish Maneshinde appeared for Khan before the Magistrate court, while Senior Counsel Amit Desai was the lead counsel before the Sessions Court along with Maneshinde. Khan is seeking bail from High Court after both Magistrate and Sessions Court had rejected his bail plea.

Aryan Khan is currently lodged in Arthur Road prison in Mumbai after he was arrested by the NCB following the alleged drug seizure from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2.
