Odisha reports 10,273 new Covid-19 cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 10,273 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, informed an official on Friday.

Of the total cases, 1,065 belong to 0-18 years age group. While 5,962 cases were reported from different quarantine centres, 4,311 were the local contacts, informed State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Department.

As many as 75,731 samples were tested on Thursday, out of which reports of 10,273 came out positive for COVID-19 in Odisha.

Khordha district logged 3,496, the highest cases, followed by Sundargarh with 1049 cases and Cuttack with 844 cases.

With this, total number of COVID-19 cases increased to 11,11,879, out of these 53,171 were active in Odisha.
