Andhra Pradesh has emerged as one of the India’s top investment destination, it has attracted ₹40,361 crore in the first seven months.
According to the Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT) – July 2022 report, India’s actual industrial investment for the first seven months stood at ₹1,71,285 crore of which Andhra Pradesh topped the list with ₹40,361 crore followed by Odisha with ₹36,828 crore.
Last week, Andhra Pradesh Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy cleared investment proposals worth ₹1,26,748 crore. The investments are expected to create direct employment for over 40,330 people in the next seven years.
