Amid row over ASO results, OPSC asks aspirants not to fall prey to misinformation


Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Wednesday issued a notification asking the aspirants not to fall prey to the misinformation campaign and false promises given by unscrupulous element for assuring position in the merit list in exchange of illegal gratification.

The OPSC notice states, the OPSC is a Constitutional body with a mandate to recruit meritorious and suitable candidates for different Group-A and B jobs for the Government.


“OPSC follows a robust, fair, and transparent methods in all its recruitment processes. All aspirants are advised not to fall prey to the misinformation campaign and false promises given by unscrupulous element for assuring position in the merit list in exchange of illegal gratification. Merit and merit alone is the only criteria for selection of candidates by the OPSC,” said the OPSC.

The OPSC has requested the candidates not to be influenced by such unscrupulous element and report any such matters to the OPSC for appropriate measures.
