Meenakshi Bahinipati appointed Mahila Congress President in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Congress on Tuesday appointed Meenakshi Bahinipati, wife of Jeypore MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, as president of Odisha Pradesh Mahila Congress.

She will replace Bandita Parida.

In a press release, AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal said Congress president Mallickarjun Kharge has approved the proposal for the appointment of Meenakshi Bahinipati as the president of Odisha Pradesh Mahila Congress.

It is pertinent to mention that in June 2023, Meenakshi Bahinipati was removed from the post of the president of the Koraput District Congress Coomittee. She was replaced by Durga Shankar Sahu.
