Bhubaneswar: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today announced that Rs 197 crore has been sanctioned for the redevelopment of Baleswar railway station in Odisha.
● Inspired by traditional Baleswar architecture, the station’s design integrates elements like arches, ornate facades, and locally sourced materials that reflect the city’s cultural heritage
● The Station facade features wheels of the Konark Temple
● Shikhar draws inspiration from Jaganath Puri
● The facade showcases Saura paintings of the Saura tribals, adding a unique cultural touch
