IndiGo flight makes emergency landing after bird hit in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: An IndiGo flight from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi made an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport here after a bird hit the plane.

All 191 passengers onboard were unhurt.

The bird hit the plane when the IndiGo-314 flight was going to New Delhi from Bhubaneswar in the evening. However, it had to return and make an emergency landing after a bird hit the plane, said an official of Biju Patnaik International Airport.

The plane later resumed flight after security checkup up.
