Centre Proposes National Investment Manufacturing Zone In Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: The union government has decided to set up a National Investment and Manufacturing Zone at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district of Odisha, said Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday.

A total of Rs 4241 crore would be invested in the investment region while over 1.5 lakh people would get employment, said Pradhan.

He said the Commerce ministry has decided to set up the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone at Kalinganagar.

The first phase of the project would be completed by 2020.
