Delete ineligible beneficiaries under NFSA by Jan 15: CM

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday directed the district collectors to complete the process in delisting fake and ineligible beneficiaries under National Food Security Act (NFSA) by January 15.

Holding a video-conferencing meeting with the district collectors, he also directed to distribute ration cards to the eligible beneficiaries by this time.

Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Dasburma said the Collectors had been asked to delete the ineligible beneficiaries by January 15.

The Chief Minister also directed to set up 100 model schools in 2016-17.
