Temple Dance Festival held in Goa  

ARAMBOL (GOA):  Foreigners in collaboration with Indian dancers performed their dancing arts at the Temple Dance Festival held at Shiva temple, Arambol in Goa on Saturday.  

Showcasing their dancing talent, several Odissi dancers from Russia, US, Spain, Canada, Japan and several other countries performed at the Temple Dance Festival drawing huge applause from the audience present here.

Their dancing moves over various items enthralled the audience. They performed Shiva Tandab, Bakratunda, Klyan Pallavi and Mohana Pallavi. They also presented a fire dance on Lord Shiva that left the audience spellbound.

The students performed some spectacular dance moves at the festival. This is an initiative to promote the classical dance while the people from other countries would get acquainted with the culture, said Saroj Dehury, an Odissi dance choreographer from Odisha.
