BHUBANESWAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a farmers’ convention at Bargarh in Odisha on February 21, informed BJP general secretary Arun Singh here on Sunday.
He said lakhs of farmers would gather at the convention where the Prime Minister will enlighten them about various central schemes being implemented for the benefit of farmers.
This will be Modi’s second visit to Odisha in a month. He is scheduled to inaugurate IOCL’s refinery plant at Paradip on February 7.
The convention is a part of four farmers’ meeting to be held across the country.
Other three conventions will be held in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka.
