BHUBANESWAR: After Cuttack, jaundice has reached the capital city of Odisha as more than 30 persons in chief minister Naveen Patnaik’s ward have tested positive on Thursday.
Above 30 persons of Jharana slum in Ward No. 53 in Bhubaneswar have tested positive for the water-borne disease.
The public health department officials have reached the affected area and opened up a mobile camp besides collecting blood samples, said an official of the health department.
Meanwhile, the officials of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) have rushed to the place to take stock of the situation.
