Bid To Teach Odia Reaches New Delhi: 5 NSUI Activists Arrested


NEW DELHI: Five including state wing president of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) were arrested on Tuesday for staging a protest and attempting to teach Odia to chief minister Naveen Patnaik in the national capital.

Activists of NSUI, the students’ wing of Congress, were arrested while they were trying to stage the protest before Naveen Patnaik’s New Delhi residence, said sources.

Notably, NSUI president of Odisha wing Itish Pradhan and several other activists have been trying to teach Odia to the chief minister since the last couple of days.
