Sunil Meher Engaged 300 Women In Sex Trade

BHUBANESWAR: Sex racket kingpin Sunil Meher had involved at least 300 women in flesh trade here, said an official of commissionerate police.

Out of this, as many as 150 girls, mostly college students, were engaged as ‘paid girlfriends’ for rich customers across the country, said police.

“Meher has involved at least 300 women in flesh trade here. A couple of them are also students. Meher operated two cars for his business, and he used to send sex workers to customers’ residences on their demand. The sex racket kingpin has revealed the names of several high profile people who were his customers for whom he was providing escort services,” police sources said.

“Meher has revealed to the cops that he is settled in Surat and has married a woman named Sophia. Meher has also told the cops he is concentrating on sex racket business in Surat and Kolkata.

Sunil told police that he had come to Kolkata to take some sex workers along with him to Surat.

Meher, who was brought on a four-day remand by Nayapalli police, was arrested on April 21 from Kolkata by quick action team (QAT) officials for running a high-profile sex racket in the city.

Meanwhile, police said they are also trying to locate the properties of Meher in the city.
