Bhubaneswar: The Odisha cabinet meeting, to be chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, is likely to deliberate on 14 proposals on Monday.
The cabinet is likely to approve the Kalinga Siksha Sathi Yojana, a scheme to provide the educational loan to students pursuing higher education.
It would also discuss the amendment of Odisha Official Language Act, 1954, and land for Skill Development Institute.
The cabinet is also likely to give its approval for setting up Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation. It would tap virgin mining fields and streamline procedures for mineral exploration.
The Corporation would play a vital role in giving operational clearance and extension of leases as per the amended MMDR Act.
