Committee To Inspect Infra Facility In Hospitals For Skill Training


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has constituted a committee to take stock of the infrastructure available for providing skill training in health and allied sectors.

The committee members are DMET joint director VK Satpathy, joint director (Nursing) SK Sahu and assistant director of employment Asit Pradhan.

The committee will visit various training institutes and hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack under the jurisdiction of Health Department, said Skill Development and Technical Education Secretary LN Gupta.

They will also visit private hospitals and any other institutes available for imparting skill development training in health and allied sectors.

They also assess the location-wise course specific capacity of training along with residential accommodation available, he added.

The committee has been asked to submit the report by August 23 this year.
