Mahindra To Keep His Promise Gifting Car To Dutee

Bhubaneswar: Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group on Sunday, said he would gift a car to Indian sprinter Dutee Chand despite her disappointing performance in the Rio Olympics.

No question about it. I will absolutely keep my word – tweeted Anand Mahindra.

He replied to a tweet on giving an XUV500 to Dutee.

The Chairman of the Mahindra Group had promised to gift a car regardless of her performance in the 2016 Olympic Games.

The offer came in after Dutee expressed her interest in buying an XUV500 sometime in the future.

She failed to qualify in for the 100m semi-finals in the Rio Olympics. The sprinter from Odisha finished seventh in her heat.
