Papu Pom Pom Not In Odia Movie Bye Bye Dubai Poster!

Bhubaneswar: While uncertainty continued to prevail over the acting career of comedy king Papu Pom Pom following his alleged involvement in casting couch case, the production house of Odia movie Bye Bye Dubai did not figure Papu in the film poster.

The recently released poster of the film featured Sabyasachi, Archita and Buddhaditya. However, Papu Pom Pom, who was in an earlier released poster, did not figure in the recently released poster, said sources.

It seems the production house does not want to take any risk by promoting comedian Papu.

Bye Bye Dubai is scheduled to be released this Ganesh Puja.

The actor was arrested on charges of sexually harassing a minor girl on the pretext of giving assurance to cast her in films. The High Court has granted him conditional bail.

Papu rose to fame in a short span of time owing to his comic timing and spectacular acting in the Odia film industry. However, his alleged involvement in the casting couch has tarnished his image.
