BSNL Announces Its Unlimited Broadband Plan For Odisha


Bhubaneswar: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), which is all set to give a fight to Reliance’s Jio in terms of tariff, on Wednesday announced its plan for Odisha.

BSNL has introdcued unlimited broadband combo plan of Rs 249 in Odisha. In addition to the recent new offers in landline segments like new land line connections for Rs.49, free calling on Sundays, Night Free Calling facility on all other days, BSNL has now introduced Combo Unlimited Broad band plan for Rs.249/- for its new customers, said a release.

In this plan, subscriber can use unlimited data along with free calling on Sundays and night calling facility on other days by paying just Rs.249/- per month for the first six months. Thereafter, subscriber can migrate to any plan of his own choice, said the release.

In plan-249, the monthly telephone rent as well as initial installation charge is entirely free. In this plan, 1GB data will cost only Rs 1, the release added.

In addition to this, BSNL has introduced two more unlimited BBG Combo ULD-499 and BBG Combo ULD -1199 for its existing customers.

In BBG Combo ULD-499, subscriber can use Unlimited Broad Band service at up to 2 Mbps speed till 1GB and thereafter at the speed of flat 1 Mbps along with free calling on Sundays and night calling facility on other days by paying just Rs.499 per month.

Similarly, in BBG Combo ULD-1199, subscriber can use Unlimited Broad Band service at flat 2 Mbps speed along with Free Unlimited Voice calls to any number at any time across India by paying Rs.1199/ Month.

BSNL has also cut mobile data price with data benefits increased by 100%.

In the mobile sector, BSNL has introduced three attractive and cost effective data STVs namely, STV -1099, STV-549. STV-156. The Data STV-1099 provides Unlimited 3G Data without any speed restriction for 30 days.The Data STV-549 provided 10GB 3G Data for 30 days. The Data STV-156 provided 2 GB Data for 10 days. In addition, the validity of the existing Data STV-561 which provided 5GB 3G Data has been extended to 60 Days.

Further, BSNL is going to launch two Post Paid Plans 1125 & 1525 from 9 September this year.In these two plans by paying a month fixed charges of Rs.1125 and Rs 1525 subscribers can use 1GB and 5 GB data respectively along with unlimited voice calls to any network. This facility is available during Roaming also, said the release.

    I was a customer of 249 landline plan. After 6 month it has become 499 plan. What is the free data available in this plan?
