3 Injured In Angul Bus Accident Go Missing From SCB!

Cuttack: Three persons injured in the Angul bus accident reportedly went missing from SCB medical college and hospital (SCBMCH) promoting the district administration to order a probe into the incident.

The three persons were admitted along with other serious injured persons to the hospital, said an official.

Cuttack district Collector Nirmal Chandra Mishra ordered a probe into the incident after he came to know about the incident.

Sources said Mishra visited the premier health institute and enquired about the missing patients on Saturday. He directed SCBMCH emergency officer Bhubananand Maharana to trace the three patients.

“The three injured might have been shifted to some other departments of the hospital. There are also chances that the trio has been discharged from the hospital after treatment,” Maharana said.

According to sources, the three patients have been shifted to two private hospitals of the city by their kin.

“We have the information that the three patients have been shifted to some private hospitals. We are trying to bring them back to SCBMCH,” hospital superintendent Pratap Rath said.

SCBMCH authorities have constituted a special team to provide better treatment to the injured.
