NALCO Bags Best Exporter Award

Bhubaneswar: National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO), the leading manufacturer and exporter of alumina and aluminum, has bagged the Best Exporter Award at the State Export Award Ceremony at Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

It has bagged the award consecutively for three years-2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14-under metallurgical products category.

Appreciating the concerted efforts made by the employees,  NALCO CMD Tapan Kumar Chand conveyed hearty congratulations to the employees for the accolades.

S.K. Dash, Executive Director(Projects & Technical), S.K. Roy, Executive Director(Production) and S. Samantaray, General Manager (Marketing), received the awards at a function organized by the Directorate of Export Promotion and Marketing.

Finance minister Pradip Kumar Amant, MSME minister Jogendra Behera and MSME secretary L.N. Gupta were present on the occasion.

It may be mentioned that since inception, NALCO has achieved spectacular success as a leading exporter of alumina and aluminum.

The company is also registered with London Metal Exchange, for its high-quality products.
