Monginis Opens New Factory In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Monginis, a Mumbai-based leading bakery chain, is all set to deliver fresh and delicious cakes, pastries and savories in the growing cities of Odisha.

In order to meet the growing demand for bakery products in the region, Monginis has now established a new factory in the capital city.

The inauguration of the new factory was held at Mancheswar Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar on Friday.

The event was attended by Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Das Burma, Director of Monginis Qusai Khorakiwala and National Franchise Manager Jagdish Shetty.

Dasburma said “Food processing and packaging has its own importance nowadays. Initiatives like these will not only create employment but will also support the farmers.”

Qusai Khorakiwala, on the other hand, seemed to be quite optimistic on this occasion.

He said that the growing market in the smaller towns and villages is encouraging for a growing firm.

He further added, “We have created a loyal consumer base here. And I believe that we will be able to meet the growing demand through this new factory.”

Monginis, being one of the most trusted bakery brands in India, sells ready-made as well as order-made cakes for catering or carry-out. The chain sells both Indian and Western savouries, including samosas, puffs, cutlets and doughnuts. Apart from these, snack foods and bread are also sold at Monginis outlets.

Monginis has a product line for diabetics and offers themed-based products during festivals. It has both Pure Veg & Non-Veg menu list. Having set up numerous outlets via the franchise route in various cities of the state, it has also gained popularity as the leading bakery chain in Odisha.

The company also has plans to multiply its rising retail distribution from its current status in the upcoming future.
