Bhuyan Tribals Want Jual’s Removal From Cabinet

Rourkela: While Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram is busy in holding the first National Tribal Carnivals at Delhi, the Bhuyan tribal community of Sundargarh district and its adjacent districts held a rally demanding his expulsion from the union cabinet.

Jual Oram is Member of Parliament from Sundargarh constituency.

Huge numbers of Bhuyan tribals congregated in the district on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to the district collector addressed to the President of India and Prime Minister of India urging them to sack Oram from union cabinet for his controversial remark on Bhuyan community.

Notably, Oram had given a statement that Bhuyan community does not belong to ST category.
