Bhubaneswar: Janmejaya Mohanty representing West Bengal won a gold medal in the 80-kg category at the recently-concluded NABBA IVth Mr India competition at Gurgaon.
Earlier this week, Janmejaya had quit Odisha Body Building Association (OBBA) citing nepotism and corruption.
Janmejaya also qualified for the Mr World competition to be conducted in Russia in June 2107.
“With this gold medal performance, I have proved that I have the talent, but I had been continuously neglected by the officials of OBBA,” he stated here on Monday.
In July this year, Janmejaya Mohanty had bagged the All India Postal Body Building Championships for the fifth time in his career.
Being an official in Indian Postal Services, he has been lauded with many other honours like Dakshree, Odishashree.
