Amway India employees plant saplings

Gurgaon: Amway India, the country’s leading direct selling FMCG company, as a gesture to the environment inspired employees across locations to plant a sapling.

Over 400 employees of Amway India participated in this activity which was conducted at locations like Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Madurai. All the saplings have been planted at respective Amway locations.

Speaking on the occasion, Shantanu Das, Chief Human Resource Officer, Amway India, said, “We believe that the proper use and management of the earth’s resources are the responsibilities of industry and individuals alike. After all, alone we can do so little – together, we can do so much. The aim of this activity is to drive awareness about the importance of sustaining and nurturing the environment amongst our colleagues.”
