Six members of bike theft gang arrested in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police arrested six members including the mastermind of a two-wheeler theft gang, said police on Sunday.

They have been arrested here late on Saturday night.

Nayapalli police arrested recovered 11 motorcycles from their possession.

The members used to lift bikes from Bapuji Nagar, Chandrasekharpur, Master Canteen area and hide them in Aska in Ganjam district from where they hail.

The gang used to live in Salia Sahi slum of the city and was active in the city since last two years, said police.
