K. Srinath Reddy appointed as health advisor to Odisha govt

Bhubaneswar: President of the Public Health Foundation of India K. Srinath Reddy has been appointed as advisor to the Odisha government.

Reddy, who formerly headed the Department of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),  will advise the state government on successful implementation of ongoing health programs in the state.

He will also work on increasing the health index of the state.

Reddy will get the status of a Cabinet minister.
