Bhubaneswar: With heat wave condition prevailing across Odisha, the state government has ordered for morning classes in all schools across the state on April 1.
The School and Mass Education department asked all the schools to change their class timings to the morning session from April 1.
No school in the state will remain open after 10.30 am. Mid-day meals will be served in government schools at 10 am. In addition to this, schools will be closed for summer vacation from May 3, said a notification.
School authorities have further been asked to complete all examinations by March 31.
The headmasters have also been asked to make adequate provision for drinking water.
