Bhubaneswar: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said all regional parties should unite to strengthen the federal structure of the country.
“It is our continuous process to unite the regional parties. We want all regional parties should unite to strengthen the federal structure in the country,” said Banerjee after meeting her Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik here.
She said regional parties are enough to tackle the BJP.
“I don’t think BJP is a threat. Regional parties are enough to tackle them,” said Banerjee.
