MCI approves intake capacity to 250 in SCB medical college

Bhubaneswar: The Medical Council of India (MCI) has approved the intake capacity to 250 at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, said an official on Saturday.

The government-run medical college provides degree courses for MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCH and diploma courses. Its intake for MBBS courses is 250, while for the postgraduate courses it is approximately 150.

Earlier on May 4, the MCI had approved the Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital (SLNMCH) in Koraput district with a student intake capacity of 100 and allowing the academic session from this year.
