Gada bear runs away from Nandankanan zoo

Bhubaneswar: The Gada bear, which had been brought to the Nandankanan Zoological Park from Sahada village in Bhadrak district on January 15, fled from the zoo last night.

According to reports, the bear had been kept in the quarantine of the veterinary and was under treatment since it was brought from Bhadrak. The bear had some injuries in its head.

The Nandakanan authorities have begun a search operation to find out the bear.
