Class IX student found dead on roadside in Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, the body of a Class IX student was found lying on the village roadside at Nagupatna under the Jayapatna police limits in Kalahandi district early on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Nabin Majhi, a Class IX student at Paika Nandimunda High School.

Police have reached the spot and started an investigation. Villagers suspect that some miscreants have killed Nabin and dumped the body on the roadside.

A pal of gloom has descended in the village while family members have demanded an investigation into the incident.
